Common use of Effective Date of Release Clause in Contracts

Effective Date of Release. The Release shall not become effective until the day (the “Effective Date”) that is eight (8) calendar days after ▇▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ has signed the Release in accordance with the provisions of Section 13 above and then only if (a) it has been delivered to the person named in Section 14 of this Agreement within seven days after he signed it, and (b) it has not been revoked by ▇▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ in accordance with the provisions of Section 14 of this Agreement.
