Common use of EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE GRANT Clause in Contracts

EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE GRANT. A. This Grant Agreement will be in effect from Start Date, or upon signature of the Director of ODJFS, whichever is later, through End Date, unless this Agreement is suspended or terminated pursuant to ARTICLE IV prior to the above termination date. This Agreement may be renewed through [DATE], upon satisfactory completion of activities hereunder, appropriation of funds by the Ohio General Assembly, and at the sole discretion of ODJFS. ODJFS will issue a notice to GRANTEE if ODJFS decides to renew this Agreement. GRANTEE will not obligate resources in anticipation of a renewal until notice is provided. B.
