Common use of EFFECTIVE DATE; TERM OF AGREEMENT Clause in Contracts

EFFECTIVE DATE; TERM OF AGREEMENT. 2.1 Upon the execution of this Agreement by the Parties and approval of this Agreement by the City Attorney in accordance with Charter Section 40, this Agreement shall be effective as of July 1, 2010 and continue until June 30, 2011, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. 2.2 In accordance with Section 16.9, this Agreement may be extended for up to ninety additional calendar days so long as an amendment is made in writing and signed by both Parties and is made in compliance with all laws, policies, regulations relating thereto.
