Effective Relationships. a) The Councils hereby acknowledge and agree that they are engaged in a long term relationship for their mutual benefit through the achievement of the Project and each Council will use reasonable endeavours to develop and maintain an effective joint process to ensure that the Project develops appropriately and in line with the principles set out in this Agreement. b) The Councils hereby undertake to develop and maintain clear roles and responsibilities for each of them and to develop relationships at the appropriate levels within each Council, providing direct and easy access for the others’ representatives.
