EFFECTS OF CONTRACT. A. This agreement shall become effective upon ratification by both parties and remain in effect until June 30, 2021. B. Negotiations shall be initiated as per the Procedure section of the Recognition and Negotiations Procedure contained herein. C. Both parties agree to comply with the provisions of the contract and the Board shall give it the full force of Board policy. D. This agreement shall be the base from which future negotiations shall proceed. E. If any provision of this Agreement, or any application of the provisions of this contract conflicts with any federal or state law, now or hereafter enacted or issued, such provision or application shall be inoperative, but the remaining provisions of the Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
