Electrical Construction Clause Samples
The Electrical Construction clause defines the requirements and standards for all electrical work performed as part of a construction project. It typically outlines the scope of electrical installations, such as wiring, lighting, power distribution, and compliance with relevant codes and safety regulations. This clause ensures that all electrical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with legal and technical standards, thereby minimizing risks of malfunction, delays, or safety hazards during and after construction.
Electrical Construction. 4.1 All electrical and motor control equipment needed to operate the facility will be installed. The Midland Site will have a dedicated electricity meter.
4.2 A new SCADA system will be installed to monitor the Assets and Equipment.
Electrical Construction. Landlord shall furnish and install the following:
a. Lighting: Landlord shall furnish and install 2'0" x 4'0" Building -------- standard parabolic fluorescent light fixtures, with sockets for 3 standard 40 watt fluorescent Real Estate lamps (Building standard-227 volts), in the quantity of seventy-eight (78) per floor.
Electrical Construction. 1. Wiring: Facilities sufficient for 2 ▇▇▇▇▇ per sq. ft. of rentable area connected load at 110 - 120 V single phase for general use and facilities sufficient for 3 ▇▇▇▇▇ per square foot of rentable area connected load at 277/480 V, 3 phase 4 wire for fluorescent lighting. All wiring above ceilings, including CRT wiring, must be either Teflon coated or run in conduit.
Electrical Construction. The electrical requirements for each Motor control centre shall be as detailed in the drawings.
6.3.1 Cooling Artificial cooling of any component will not be acceptable. All design and construction shall be based on natural cooling by convection or radiation. Forced cooling will only be acceptable where power electronic components are contained.
Electrical Construction. The number wheels used in the register assembly shall be provided with spring-type bifurcated metal contacts to ensure data transmission. • Connection shall be made to the register by three screw-type terminals sonically inserted into the register top. Access to the terminals shall be available to all models of register, with the exception of a permanently potted version. A port cover shall be provided to cover the terminals after they have been wired. • Digitally formatted data transmitted from the register shall incorporate a checksum character to verify correct information transmission and integrity. Data errors shall be indicated by the reading equipment. • The absolute encoder register shall automatically detect between 2-wire and 3-wire register protocol. • Meter Reading Information • The absolute encoder register shall provide to the reading equipment up to a six-digit meter reading. An identification number of up to ten digits shall be provided with each reading. • The City of ▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall have the option to reprogram the internal register identification number an unlimited number of times. • The absolute encoder register must have the capability to provide additional custom information to the reader. This information shall be programmed by the City of ▇▇▇▇▇▇ and have the ability to be reprogrammed at any time.
Electrical Construction. Refer to the Equipment portion of the Mechanical Construction for electrical requirements.
Electrical Construction. Tenant electrical energy consumption is separately metered directly by Boston Edison. Base building power is available on each floor from a distribution bus duct riser at 480/277 volt service with individual step-down transformers for 120/208 volt, 3 phase power on the basis of 1.4 ▇▇▇▇▇ per square foot for lighting at 277 volt and 2 ▇▇▇▇▇ per square foot tenant power at 120 volt. Metering shall be in the core electrical/telephone closet with circuit breaker panels and step down transformers. Additional capacity is available in the bus duct for special tenant requirements at tenant cost. Landlord shall furnish and install the following:
a. Lighting: Landlord shall furnish and install 2'0"x2'0" Building Standard parabolic fluorescent light fixtures, with sockets for 2 standard 40 watt fluorescent lamps (Building Standard-277 volts), in the quantity of one (1) for every 60 square feet rentable area to be installed in the ceiling so as not to conflict with existing Building Structure, Mechanical, or electrical systems. Initial ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ in building standard white lamp color included.
b. Power: Furnish and install one duplex 120 volt power outlet for each 150 square feet rentable area. Outlets shall be provided eight per circuit in tenant partitions.
Electrical Construction. Existing wiring and electrical fixtures may be reused where practicable to maintain like-new appearance and where existing units otherwise comply with specifications.
Electrical Construction. We will staff this project with a Senior Project Manager, a QA/QC Manager and a Senior Project Coordinator to work closely with the Contractor, GOAA OPS and Maintenance.
