Common use of Electromagnetic Fields Clause in Contracts

Electromagnetic Fields. If Tenant at any time uses any equipment that may create an electromagnetic field exceeding the normal insulation ratings of ordinary twisted pair riser cable or cause radiation higher than normal background radiation, Landlord reserves the right to require Tenant to appropriately insulate the Lines therefore (including riser cables) to prevent such excessive electromagnetic fields or radiation. Landlord shall include in the leases for all other tenants in the Project the same requirement to take protective measures with respect to their equipment. Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is the parties’ intent that the Building and Premises shall meet or exceed existing codes, and Tenant shall have no liability under the foregoing to the extent its equipment meets or exceeds existing codes.
