Common use of Electronic Mail and Internet Connections Clause in Contracts

Electronic Mail and Internet Connections. County computers 2 may be used for Federation business involving E-Mail or Internet connections when 3 such use is de minimis and incidental, such as arranging a meeting with a fellow shop 4 ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or Council representative. Computer use may be further used for the purpose 5 of conducting an investigation of a grievance, interacting with the County’s 6 Representatives concerning Federation-County Business, on the employee’s own 7 time, and to link to a Federation Internet site. The uses outlined may continue only to 8 the extent that they are at no additional cost to the County, and are contingent on the 9 continued use of the cited computers, Internet connection, or intranet connection for 10 other County purposes. The content of any and all communications using the County 11 computer system is not privileged and may be subject to County review.
