Eligibility and Contributions. 1. All unit members .5 FTE and above with the District at the time contribution are eligible to contribute to the Catastrophic Leave Bank. 2. Participation is voluntary, but requires contribution to the Bank. Only contributors will be permitted to withdraw from the Bank unless otherwise mutually agreed upon in writing. 3. Unit members who elect not to join the Catastrophic Leave Bank upon first becoming eligible have a waiting period of 60 working days after joining the Bank before becoming eligible to withdraw from the Bank. 4. The contribution, on the appropriate form, shall be authorized by the unit member and continued from year to year until canceled by the unit member.

Unit members who elect not to join the Catastrophic Leave Bank upon first becoming eligible must wait until the next open enrollment period and have a waiting period of 60 working thirty (30) days after joining the Bank bank before becoming eligible to withdraw from the Bank. 4. d. The contribution, on the appropriate form, shall be authorized by the unit member and continued from year to year until canceled by the unit member.
