Eligibility and Entitlement. 1. Each full-time twelve (12) month bargaining unit member shall receive the following vacation entitlement:
a. More than one (1) year and less than six (6) years of continuous service: Two

Eligibility and Entitlement a. Leave under this Section shall be available to any Employee who has twelve (12) months or more of Continuous Service calculated pursuant to the Seniority provisions of this Agreement. There shall be no hours-worked requirement for eligibility.
b. Any eligible Employee shall be entitled to up to twelve (12) weeks of unpaid leave for FMLA eligible reasons in any twelve (12) month period. This period shall be measured on a rolling twelve (12) month basis, measured backward from the date any FMLA leave is used. Any time taken off in connection with any of the situations covered by the FMLA shall be counted toward the twelve (12) week period, except as otherwise excluded.
Eligibility and Entitlement. A full-time staff member is entitled to long service leave at the rate of 44 working days long service leave on full pay on the completion of ten years’ service. After the initial ten years’ service, long service leave accrues at the rate of 11 working days for each completed year of service and pro-rata for less than a completed year of service. Long service leave may be taken on half pay.

Eligibility and Entitlement. (a) All employees (casual or regular) who have been employed for ninety consecutive days of employment shall be entitled to up to six days of paid illness or injury leave.
(b) Additional STIIP benefits may follow provided the employee has met all the eligibility and entitlement requirements under (c) to (g). The STIIP benefit periods that follow in (c), (d), and (e) will be adjusted to be inclusive of any period of leave taken under (a).
(c) Regular employees shall be covered by the Short-Term Illness and Injury Plan upon completion of six months of active service with the Commission.
(d) Regular employees with less than six months of service who are unable to work because of illness or injury are entitled to six days coverage at 75% pay in any one calendar year.
(e) Regular employees with three months but less than six months of service will be entitled to 15 weeks (75 workdays) of coverage, consisting of the above six days, or what remains of the six days entitlement, at 75% pay, and the remainder of the 15 weeks at two-thirds of pay, not to exceed a maximum weekly benefit of $413, or the EIC maximum weekly sickness benefit, whichever is higher. the Employment Insurance maximum weekly sickness benefit.
(f) Notwithstanding (a), (b) and (c) (c), (d), and (e), above, where a regular employee is on a claim recognized by the Workers' Compensation Board while the employee was on the Commission's business, they shall be entitled to leave with pay up to 130 days for any one claim in lieu of benefits as outlined in Section 1.2. Such leave period will run concurrent with the related STIIP period.
(i) Commission and employee contributions and deductions for pension and Employment Insurance during the period of absence will comply with statutory requirements.
(ii) During the leave period, the employee will receive net take-home pay equal to wage loss benefits (inclusive of any earnings over and above basic pay) as calculated by the WCB, less any voluntary deductions and those employee deductions referenced in (i) above.
(iii) If net take-home pay as calculated in (ii) above is less than the employee would receive if they had continued to work, the Commission will top up so there is no difference in net take-home pay.
(iv) The compensation payable by the WorkSafeBC shall be remitted to the Commission.
(g) Pay for a regular part-time employee under this plan shall be based on their part-time percentage of full-time employment at date of present appointment.
Eligibility and Entitlement. (A) There shall be no hours-worked requirement for the twelve (12) months preceding the start of the leave.
(B) The twelve (12) weeks unpaid leave entitlement under the FML shall be measured on a calendar year basis.
(C) In the event an employee should exhaust the FML entitlement due to their own serious health condition, such employee shall be entitled to an additional unpaid leave of up to four (4) weeks in connection with the birth, adoption or placement of a child, or the need to care for a family member with a serious health condition, should such an event occur within the 82 260 calendar year as defined above.
Eligibility and Entitlement. 40.2.1 Full and Part time employees who have completed 12 months continuous service with ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ at the time of taking leave are eligible for up to 52 weeks (1 year) of parental leave, which may include both paid and unpaid leave.
