Common use of Eligibility for Use Clause in Contracts

Eligibility for Use. With the exception of employees who change positions within the unit by promotion, transfer or for some other reason (or promote from another full-time unit), during the first six (6) months of employment, an employee may use up to three (3) days of sick leave. After six (6) months, an employee may use any sick leave he/she has accrued.
