Common use of Eliminated Position Clause in Contracts

Eliminated Position. If, while an employee is on a leave of absence, the University eliminates the position held by the employee, the University will notify the employee of his/her layoff pursuant to Article 17, Layoff and Recall and the employee will be afforded the same layoff rights and considerations provided by Article 17.

Eliminated Position. If, while an employee is on a leave of absence, the University eliminates the position held by the employee, the University will notify the employee of his/her layoff pursuant to Article 1715, Layoff ▇▇▇▇▇▇ and Recall ▇▇▇▇▇▇, and the employee will be afforded the same layoff rights and considerations provided by Article 1715.
