Common use of Embargoes Clause in Contracts

Embargoes. BUYER WARRANTS TO SELLER THAT THE EQUIPMENT PURCHASED SHALL NOT BE SOLD, EXPORTED OR REEXPORTED TO ANY COUNTRY OR ENTITY IN VIOLATION OF ANY EMBARGO OR SANCTIONS OF THE UNITES STATES OF AMERICA OR THE EUROPEAN UNION OR THE UNITED NATIONS IN FORCE AT THE TIME OF SALE AND SHALL INDEMNIFY AND HOLD SELLER HARMLESS FROM ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF A BREACH OF THIS PARAGRAPH. ▇▇▇▇▇ agrees that it will not divert, use, export, or reexport any equipment sold hereunder contrary to the export laws of the United States of America (U.S.) or of the European Union (“E.U.”) or of the United Nations (U.N.). Buyer expressly acknowledges and agrees that it will not export, reexport, or provide such items to any entity or person within any country that is subject to U.S. or E.U. or U.N. economic sanctions or embargoes.
