EMBEDDED ITEMS. A. Embedded items shall conform with ACI 301, Chapter 6. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to coordinate and verify the installation of all embedded items. He shall be responsible for avoiding, or reconciling, interferences between locations of inserts for all purposes, subject to the approval of the Engineer. In addition, the Contractor shall furnish and install all items required for a complete job. Pipe penetrations through existing walls shall be cored by diamond bit. The core holes shall be coated with epoxy paint.
