Common use of Emergency Communications Clause in Contracts

Emergency Communications. Emer- gency communications necessary for the purpose of carrying out disaster re- lief functions may be established and may be made available to State and local government officials as deemed appropriate. Such communications are intended to supplement but not replace normal communications that remain operable after a major disaster. FEMA funding for such communications will be discontinued as soon as the needs have been met.
