Common use of Emergency Event Clause in Contracts

Emergency Event. An event or incident in which mass casualty, loss of property, hysteria, or the potential of such issues requires a rapid deployment of patrol and emergency response or communication services in order to provide immediate aid, assistance, and/or restore order. In such situations, the Chief of Police or MATCOM Manager may issue a call out to all available personnel regardless of seniority. After such situations have been deemed under control and stabilized, employees will be released to off duty status in seniority order.
