Common use of EMERGENCY LEAVE WITH PAY Clause in Contracts

EMERGENCY LEAVE WITH PAY. Any employee may be granted emergency leave with pay by his/her Department Head for personal reasons that the department head determines are “urgent,” except for medical or dental care. Such emergency leave with pay shall not exceed four (4) hours in any one instance or a maximum of four (4) hours in any one (1) calendar month.
