The 'Emergency on-site intervention' clause authorizes immediate action by a party to address urgent situations that pose a risk to safety, property, or the environment at a project site. Typically, this clause allows for rapid deployment of personnel or resources without prior approval when emergencies such as fires, hazardous material spills, or structural failures occur. Its core function is to ensure swift response to unforeseen incidents, minimizing harm and preventing escalation by bypassing standard procedural delays.
Emergency on-site intervention. In the case of a System breakown ,when failure can’t be fixed locally, nor via remote access, the service provider will immediately send the technical team to rectify the faults on site, which categorized as a Severity 1 failure (no communication/video signal).as per fault category.
Emergency on-site intervention. In the event that a Class 1 Error or Class 2 Error cannot be solved through hot-line intervention or remote diagnostic and intervention methods, CME and Euronext may jointly decide that an intervention of Euronext staff is required at CME's site. In such case, Euronext shall take immediate action to provide the appropriate resources at CME's site. CME shall reimburse Euronext for the travel and living expenses of its representatives as described in paragraph 3(D)(4), but shall not be required to make further payment to Euronext for these emergency on-site services, unless it is later determined that the error was not caused by the Central Services Software, the HUB API or any other system covered by the Agreement. If the error is later determined to be caused by a system that is not covered by the Agreement, the CME shall compensate Euronext for its efforts at a rate of ***** per person per day (in addition to the travel and lodging expenses already reimbursed as required above).

  • Emergency Work Employees who are required to report for emergency work on non- workdays, or outside of their regular hours of work on a scheduled workday or on holidays which they are entitled to have off, shall be paid overtime compensation for the actual work time and for travel time in connection therewith, but such travel time shall not exceed one-half (1/2) hour.
