Common use of Emergency Preparedness and Continuity of Operations Clause in Contracts

Emergency Preparedness and Continuity of Operations. 34.1 If the tasks to be performed pursuant to any contract or agreement incorporating this Master Contract by reference include the physical care and control of clients, or the administration and coordination of services necessary for client health, safety or welfare, the Contractor shall, within thirty (30) calendar days of the execution of any contract or agreement, submit to the Contract Manager verification of an emergency preparedness plan. In the event of an emergency, the Contractor shall notify the AAAPP of emergency provisions. 34.2 In the event a situation results in a cessation of services by a Subcontractor, the Contractor shall retain responsibility for performance under any contract or agreement incorporating this Master Contract by reference and must follow procedures to ensure continuity of operations without interruption.
