Common use of Emergency Sheltering Clause in Contracts

Emergency Sheltering. Emergency sheltering in this Agreement pertains to all forms of emergency sheltering under the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Act, including, but not limited to, Congregate Sheltering, Public Assistance Non- Congregate Sheltering (PA NCS), and Transitional Sheltering Assistance (TSA). FEMA may provide PA funding under section 403 of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Act to state, local, tribal, and territorial governments for emergency sheltering (in both congregate and non-congregate locations). TSA is a form of NCS, provided to eligible FEMA IHP applicants transitioning out of emergency shelters and into temporary or permanent housing solutions. FEMA Housing Assistance is housing assistance provided to eligible IHP applicants under section 408(c) of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Act, which includes financial assistance, direct assistance, repair and replacement assistance, and permanent housing construction assistance.
