Common use of Emergency Transfer Clause in Contracts

Emergency Transfer. When an emergency situation exists, an employee may be temporarily 25 transferred by administrative action. When the emergency has ended, the employee shall be 26 returned to his/her original assignment and job site. Thereafter, the vacancy shall be filled 1 permanently in accordance with the provisions of this Article. A temporary assignment hereunder 2 shall not last beyond six (6) months or the end of the fiscal year, whichever comes earlier.
