Common use of Employee Address and Telephone Number Clause in Contracts

Employee Address and Telephone Number. It shall be the responsibility of each employee to keep the County informed of his/her current address and telephone number where he/she can be notified of emergencies, changes in schedules, disciplinary actions, overtime assignments and other matters. All employees shall be required, as a condition of continued employment, to obtain and maintain an operating telephone in their place of residence. Newly hired employees shall have sixty (60) days from the date of hire to comply with this requirement. Employee telephone numbers that are unlisted shall be held in confidence by the County to the greatest extent possible and used for no other purpose than contact by the County.
