Common use of Employee Lists Clause in Contracts

Employee Lists. (A) Upon request of the Union on no more than a quarterly basis, the state will provide it with personnel data from the state personnel database (People First). These data will include employees’ names, home addresses, work locations, classification titles, and other data elements as identified by the Union that are not confidential under state law. This information will be prepared on the basis of the latest information available in the database at the time of the request. (B) It is the state’s policy to protect employee data exempt from public access under the provisions of Florida Statute 119.071(4) from inadvertent or improper disclosure. Such data include home addresses, telephone numbers, social security numbers, and dates of birth. The Union agrees, therefore, that these exempt data are provided for the sole and exclusive use of the Union in carrying out its role as certified bargaining agent. This information may not be relayed, sold, or transferred to a third party and may not be used by an entity or individual for any purpose other than Union business.
