Employee Processed Grievances Clause Samples

Employee Processed Grievances. An employee covered by this agreement may present a grievance directly and have such grievance resolved without intervention of CSEA as long as the adjustment is not inconsistent with the terms of the Agreement. CSEA shall be provided copies of any grievance filed by employees directly and any response by the District. Prior to any resolution of any grievance, CSEA shall be provided with a copy of the proposed resolution for review. CSEA shall be given an opportunity to file a written response to the proposed resolution. Any disagreement concerning whether the settlement is inconsistent with the terms of the Agreement shall be subject to the grievance process.
Employee Processed Grievances. An employee covered by this Agreement may present a grievance directly and have such grievance adjusted without intervention by MCFSE as long as the adjustment is not inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement. Prior to the resolution of any such grievance at Step II or above, MCFSE shall be provided a copy of the grievance and the proposed resolution for review, and shall be given an opportunity to file a written response to the proposed resolution, prior to its implementation.
Employee Processed Grievances. 12.4.1 An employee covered by this Agreement may present a grievance directly, and have such grievance resolved without intervention by CSEA provided that the resolution is consistent with the terms and provisions of this Agreement. CSEA shall be provided with copies of any grievance filed directly by employees and any responses by the District. Prior to resolution of any grievance, CSEA shall be given an opportunity to review the grievance documents and the proposed resolution. 12.4.2 CSEA shall have five (5) working days to file written objections to the proposed resolution if it believes the resolution is inconsistent with the terms and provisions of this Agreement. These objections shall be filed with the Superintendent. The Superintendent shall have five (5) working days to respond to CSEA’s written objections. If CSEA believes that the Superintendent’s response is still inconsistent with the terms and provisions of this Agreement, it may file a grievance directly to Step 4 on the issue(s) within five (5) working days from the response, or from the date of the response should have been received.

Prior to any resolution of any such grievance, CSEA shall be provided a copy of the grievance and the proposed resolution for review. CSEA shall be given an opportunity to file a written response to the proposed resolution. All grievances advanced to Level Three and higher shall be processed by CSEA.

The District shall provide copies of grievance(s) filed by grievant(s) and any District response(s) to CSEA.
