Employee’s Release Clause Samples

The Employee’s Release clause requires the employee to formally relinquish any legal claims or rights they may have against the employer, typically as a condition for receiving severance or other post-employment benefits. In practice, this means the employee agrees not to pursue lawsuits or other actions related to their employment or termination, often covering issues like wrongful dismissal, discrimination, or unpaid wages. This clause serves to protect the employer from future legal disputes by ensuring that the employee cannot bring claims once the employment relationship ends.
