Employer of Record Sample Clauses
The Employer of Record clause designates a third-party organization as the official employer for certain workers, even though those workers perform services for another company. In practice, this means the Employer of Record handles payroll, tax withholding, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws, while the client company directs the workers' day-to-day activities. This arrangement allows businesses to quickly onboard staff in new locations or for temporary projects without establishing a legal entity, ensuring compliance and reducing administrative burdens.
