Common use of Employer’s Objectives Clause in Contracts

Employer’s Objectives. The Employer’s objective is to appoint Contractors for the construction of primary bulk infrastructure for the Nqadu Corridor (one of five development corridors making up the KSD Presidential Intervention Bulk Water Supply Scheme. The Nqadu Corridor comprises two pipeline contracts (this Contract being one of these) and one reservoir Contract. The employer is desirous of awarding the contract as soon as possible. The award of contract will commence with the acceptance of the Notification of Award by the successful bidders. The signing of the selected formal contract will be finalized soonest after notification of award.
