Common use of Encounter Data Clause in Contracts

Encounter Data. Dentist hereby acknowledges that MA Plan is required to provide CMS and other federal and State regulatory agencies and accrediting organizations with encounter data. Such data may include medical records and other data necessary to characterize each encounter between a MA Member and Dentist. Dentist agrees to cooperate with this obligation of MA Plan and to provide CMS and/or MA Plan with all encounter data in such form and manner as required.
