Common use of Engineers Clause in Contracts

Engineers. Tenant shall retain the services of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural engineers approved by Landlord (the “Engineers”), which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed: (i) to design the type, number and location of all mechanical systems in the Premises, including, without limitation, the heating, ventilating and air conditioning system and the fire alarm system located therein, and to prepare all of the mechanical plans; (ii) to assist Tenant and the Space Planner in connection with the electrical design of the Premises, including the location and capacity of light fixtures, electrical receptacles and other electrical elements, and to prepare all of the electrical plans; (iii) to assist Tenant and the Space Planner in connection with plumbing-related systems in the Premises, and to prepare all of the plumbing plans; and (iv) to assist Tenant and the Space Planner in connection with the structural elements of the Space Planner’s design of the Premises, and to prepare all of the structural plans. All fees of the Engineers shall be borne solely by Tenant, subject to application of the Improvement Allowance as hereinafter provided.

Tenant shall retain the services of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural engineers reasonably approved by Landlord (the “Engineers”), which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed: (i) to (a) design the type, number and location of all mechanical systems in the Original Premises, includingif applicable, and the Expansion Space, including without limitation, limitation the heating, ventilating and air conditioning system and the therein, fire alarm system located therein, and to prepare all of the mechanical plans; , (iib) to assist Tenant and the Space Planner in connection with the electrical design of the Original Premises, if applicable, and the Expansion Space, including the location and capacity of light fixtures, electrical receptacles and other electrical elements, and to prepare all of the electrical plans; , (iiic) to assist Tenant and the Space Planner in connection with plumbing-related systems issues involved in designing the Original Premises, if applicable, and the Expansion Space and to prepare all of the plumbing plans; , and (ivd) to assist Tenant and the Space Planner in connection with the structural elements of the Space Planner’s design of the Original Premises, if applicable, and the Expansion Space and to prepare all of the structural plans. All fees of the Engineers shall be borne solely by Tenant, subject to application of the Improvement Allowance as hereinafter provided.

Tenant shall retain the services of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural engineers approved by Landlord (the “"Engineers”"), which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed: , to (i) to design the type, number and location of all mechanical systems in the PremisesExpansion Space, including, including without limitation, limitation the heating, ventilating and air conditioning system and therein, the Telecom Equipment Cabling, fire alarm system located therein, and to prepare all of the mechanical plans; , (ii) to assist Tenant and the Space Planner in connection with the electrical design of the PremisesExpansion Space, including the location and capacity of light fixtures, electrical receptacles and other electrical elements, and to prepare all of the electrical plans; , (iii) to assist Tenant and the Space Planner in connection with plumbing-related systems issues involved in designing the Premises, Expansion Space and to prepare all of the plumbing plans; plans and (iv) to assist Tenant and the Space Planner in connection with the structural elements of the Space Planner’s 's design of the Premises, Expansion Space and to prepare all of the structural plans. All fees of the Engineers shall be borne solely by Tenant, subject to application of the Improvement Allowance as hereinafter provided.

In the event that Tenant desires to install in the Premises any Tenant Improvements which require a building permit to undertake, Tenant shall retain the services of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural engineers approved by Landlord (the “"Engineers”), which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed: ") to (i) to design the type, number and location of all mechanical systems in the Premises, including, including without limitation, limitation the heating, ventilating and air conditioning system and the therein, fire alarm system located therein, and to prepare all of the mechanical plans; , (ii) to assist Tenant and the Space Planner in connection with the electrical design of the Premises, including the location and capacity of light fixtures, electrical receptacles and other electrical elements, and to prepare all of the electrical plans; , (iii) to assist Tenant and the Space Planner in connection with plumbing-related systems issues involved in designing the Premises, Premises and to prepare all of the plumbing plans; plans and (iv) to assist Tenant and the Space Planner in connection with the structural elements of the Space Planner’s 's design of the Premises, Premises and to prepare all of the structural plans. All fees of the Engineers shall be borne solely by Tenant, subject to application of the Improvement Allowance as hereinafter provided.
