Enhanced Services One of the goals of EOHHS is to reduce barriers to care that exist in the fee-for-service delivery system. To accomplish this goal, the Contractor agrees to offer a schedule of enhanced services, as described below.
Jury Service Program This Contract is subject to the provisions of the County’s ordinance entitled Contractor Employee Jury Service (“Jury Service Program”) as codified in Sections 2.203.010 through 2.203.090 of the Los Angeles County Code, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit H and incorporated by reference into and made a part of this Contract.
Orientation Program The Company will allow a designated representative of the Local or Bargaining Unit up to one (1) hour per calendar month for the purpose of conducting the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union New Members’ Orientation Program. Such meetings will be conducted during the probationary period of employees, and will be held on Company premises. Employees participating in Orientation Program meetings during their normally scheduled working hours will not suffer loss of pay at their regular rate. Orientation Program meetings will be scheduled by Management and a Management representative may attend as an observer.
Homework In addition to regular attendance at scheduled classes, each student will be required to devote additional time each week outside the classroom to study and work on assignments.
