Entry Process. During the daytime Security will ask those entering to sign in and outreach engagement staff will be on hand to assist guests to services they may choose to access. Once the evening meal is finished, staff will assist those who have signed up for a bed stay to access their bed area. Security will help those who are not staying transition out of the area. No one seeking shelter for the night will be turned away providing they are not a danger to themselves or others. Security has designated 10:30pm as “lights out.” Anyone who chooses to leave during the night is free to do so; however, they will not be allowed back in until the next day, and stored items might not be immediately accessible and may need to be retrieved the following day. Security will generally close storage, showers, and other amenities during “lights out”; however anyone needing a reasonable accommodation will be accommodated if possible. Because of various language barriers and illiteracy rates among the guests, guests will be asked in their native language if they completely understand any intake/assessment forms which may be completed for services. Guests needing additional assistance will have the rules and intake forms explained to them. When English is their second language, the rules and intake forms will be explained in their primary language whenever feasible.

While the facility is open 24 hours, this is not a walk-in facility, and no off-hours referrals shall be accepted. House Rules will be submitted to County for approval. CONTRACTOR’S work shall be completed in a culturally competent manner, including the intake/assessment process and case management. Guests will have the rules and intake forms explained to them. The established referral process will ensure that beds 36 are available for interested program participants, interested participants meet eligibility requirements; 37 // 2 providing they are not a danger to themselves or others.

While the PROGRAM will operate 24 hours a day, referrals into the PROGRAM will 13 be limited to typical business hours, meaning there will be no walk-in into facility or off-hours referrals 14 accepted. The CONTRACTOR will establish House Rules for the operation of the PROGRAM and 15 submit to COUNTY for approval. CONTRACTOR will establish a schedule and related activities for 16 the PROGRAM, including the general closing of amenities during “lights out”; however any program 17 Participant needing a reasonable accommodation will be accommodated, if possible. 18 b. CONTRACTOR shall operate PROGRAM and offer supportive services in a culturally 19 competent manner, including the intake and assessment process and ongoing case management. 20 Program Participants will have the rules and intake forms explained to them. When English is their 21 second language, the rules and intake forms will be explained in their primary language whenever 22 feasible
Entry Process. Members must register their attendance at Reception and present a valid photo ID / membership card on arrival. Failure to do so may result in refusal of entry to the pool. Memberships (and membership cards) are non-transferable and must only be used by the registered member. If you require a replacement membership card, this may incur a fee.
