Common use of Equality Clause in Contracts

Equality. 2.5.1 The Supplier will, and will procure that each Subcontractor will, in performing its/their obligations under this Call-Off Contract (and other relevant agreements), comply with the provisions of Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998, as if they were a public authority within the meaning of that section. 2.5.2 The Supplier acknowledges that the Customer must, in carrying out its functions, have due regard to the need to promote equality of opportunity as contemplated by the Northern Ireland Act 1998 and the Supplier will use all reasonable endeavours to assist (and to ensure that relevant Subcontractor helps) the Customer in relation to same.
