EROSION CONTROL MEASURES. 1. The Developer shall cause all grading, excavation, open cuts, side slopes and other land surface disturbances to be so seeded and mulched, sodded or otherwise protected that erosion, siltation, sedimentation and washing are prevented in accordance with the plans and specifications reviewed and approved by the City Engineer, the State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and Army Corps of Engineers, if applicable. 2. Construct, install, furnish and provide without cost to City, a complete system of Erosion Control Devices or measures in specified areas of the Subdivision, on and off-site, in accordance with the Erosion Control Plan as approved by the Public Works & Development Director or his designee and Public Works Committee and in accordance with the plans and specifications on file in the City Engineering Department. 3. Install silt fencing in conformance with the approved Erosion Control Plan prior to the grading and construction work. Such fences shall be maintained by the Developer until such time as vegetative cover is established in the Subdivision. Install mulching and seeding of all disturbed areas to comply with Municipal Code Chapter 162.
