Common use of Error in Pay Clause in Contracts

Error in Pay. The Employer agrees if an error in pay caused by the employer of 10% or greater than the employee’s bi-weekly gross earning for that pay period , the Employer will reimburse the employee no later than three business days following notification of their supervisor. When an employee is notified of an overpayment, the employer will consult with the union and employee to agree on the repayment terms. This Letter of Understanding will automatically terminate upon expiration of the current Collective Agreement. Signed at Haldimand County , Ontario, this 6 day of June , 2016.
