Common use of Errors/Omissions Clause in Contracts

Errors/Omissions. Approval by County of the successful proposer’s work product for the project shall not constitute nor be deemed a release of the responsibility and liability of the successful proposer for the accuracy and competency of the successful proposer’s designs, drawings, specifications or other documents and work pertaining to the project. Additionally, approval by the County of the successful proposer’s work product shall not be deemed to be an assumption of drawings, specifications or other documents prepared by the successful proposer for the project. After acceptance of the final plans by the County, the successful proposer agrees, prior to and during the construction of the project, to perform such successful proposer services, at no additional cost to the County, as may be required by the County to correct errors or omissions on the plans prepared by the successful proposer pertaining to the project.
