At a minimum, a determination of the potential distribution of a marine pest requires the following types of data: (a) information underpinning correct diagnosis/taxonomic identification (b) minimum and maximum temperature tolerances for the species in the order of preference (as described in item 5(b) of this attachment) (c) sea surface temperature for Australian coastal waters.
