ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. ● Provide high quality The Supply Technician Lead uses subject-matter knowledge and judgement to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature, sequence and work-load. • The Supply Technician Lead is the key assistant to the Supply Supervisor with delegated lead person authority to control and oversee other employees in the assigning, monitoring and performance of their daily assigned tasks within the warehouse. • This position is also a working lead whose primary responsibility is to operate the GCSS-Army. • Establish and maintain stock records and other documents such as inventory, materiel control, accounting and supply reports. • Establish and maintain automated and manual accounting records, posts receipts and turn-ins, and performs dues-ins and dues-outs accounting. • Correct error and exception documents. • Review and verify quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents. • Unloads, unpacks, visually inspects, counts, segregates, palletizes, and stores incoming supplies and equipment as required. • Maintains stock locator system and administers document control procedures. • Processes inventories, surveys, and warehousing documents. • Ensures inventories and location surveys are performed in accordance with established procedures. • Retrieves and analyzes history and activity files pertinent to system rejected documents.
