Business Courtesies - Business should be won or lost on the merits of the products and services being offered by its suppliers. Therefore, supplier funds or personal funds of its employees should not be used to provide a business courtesy unless the gift is commemorative, ceremonial or customary in nature and has an insubstantial value. Under no circumstances should a kickback or bribe ever be offered to Compaq or its employees.
