Evaluation Cycles. A. Except as otherwise provided in this policy, all instructors who meet the definition of “teacher” under ORC 3319.111 and this policy will be evaluated based on the full evaluation process. B. Teachers on a limited contract who are under consideration for nonrenewal will receive three (3) formal observations (the third one may be unannounced). If nonrenewal is being considered, a written notice of nonrenewal will be provided by June 1st. C. Teacher who received a rating of “Accomplished” on his/her most recent evaluation will be evaluated fully once every three (3) school years. During off years they will follow the guidelines in the Less Frequent Observation Process. 1. Teacher will establish a self-directed Professional Growth Plan. D. Teacher who received a rating of “Skilled” on his/her most recent evaluation will be evaluated fully once every two (2) school years. During off years they will follow the guidelines in the Less Frequent Observation Process. 1. Teacher will establish a jointly created Professional Growth Plan with their evaluator E. A teacher with a final holistic rating of developing will develop a professional growth plan that is guided by the assigned evaluator.
