Common use of Exceptions to General Principles Clause in Contracts

Exceptions to General Principles. Olin and Arch --------------------------------- recognize that it is possible that, in certain cases, applicable law may prohibit the implementation of the general principles set forth in Section 3.1, or that there may be special circumstances making such implementation inadvisable or impractical. In all such cases, such general principles shall not be implemented and Olin and Arch shall use best efforts to develop and implement an alternative approach, and shall enter into such additional agreements as may be necessary or appropriate in connection therewith.
