Excessive Load Sample Clauses

The Excessive Load clause defines the responsibilities and limitations regarding the amount of demand or usage that one party can place on a system, service, or resource. In practice, this clause typically sets thresholds or criteria for what constitutes an excessive or unreasonable load, such as unusually high traffic to a website or overuse of a shared service, and may outline steps to be taken if these limits are exceeded, like throttling access or suspending service. Its core function is to protect the service provider from disruptions or degradation of service quality caused by overuse, ensuring fair and reliable access for all users.
