Common use of Exchange of Talons Clause in Contracts

Exchange of Talons. In relation to Bearer PD Debt Instruments initially delivered with Talons attached thereto, on or after the due date for the payment of interest on which the final Coupon comprised in any Coupon sheet matures, the Talon comprised in the Coupon sheet may be surrendered at the specified office of any Paying Agent outside (unless Condition 7.1.4 applies) the United States in exchange for a further Coupon sheet (including any appropriate further Talon), subject to the provisions of Condition 10 below. Each Talon shall, for the purpose of these Conditions, be deemed to mature on the due date for payment of interest on which the final Coupon comprised in the relative Coupon sheet matures.
