Excluded Personal Property Clause Samples
The Excluded Personal Property clause defines which items of personal property are not included in the sale or transfer of real estate or other assets. Typically, this clause lists specific belongings—such as furniture, artwork, or appliances—that the seller will retain and remove prior to closing, ensuring they are not mistakenly considered part of the transaction. Its core function is to prevent disputes by clearly delineating which items are excluded from the sale, thereby ensuring both parties have a mutual understanding of what is and is not being transferred.
