Common use of Exclusion of Electronic Signature Clause in Contracts

Exclusion of Electronic Signature. The reference in clauses 17.2 and 17.6 to writing signed by a Party shall, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, be read and construed as excluding any form of electronic signature.

This clause however does not apply to extension of this Agreement as contemplated in clause 3, amendments to the tariffs specified in Annexure B and the list of participating schemes specified in Annexure C, which may be recorded by way of electronic signature or any other form of written agreement.
