Common use of Execution of the Activities Generally Clause in Contracts

Execution of the Activities Generally. (a) The Recipient declares its commitment to the objectives of the Activities. To this end, the Recipient shall carry out the Activities through the State Chancellery, Ministry of Information Technology and Communication and Project Implementation Unit (PIU) in accordance with the provisions of: (a) Article II of the Standard Conditions; (b) this Article II; and (c) the “Guidelines on Preventing and Combating Fraud and Corruption in Projects Financed by IBRD Loans and ▇▇▇ Credits and Grants”, dated October 15, 2006, with the modifications set forth in the Appendix to this Agreement. (b) The Recipient shall maintain the PIU with resources, functions and responsibilities acceptable to the World Bank and with staff, whose qualifications, experience and terms of reference shall be satisfactory to the World Bank.
