Common use of Exempt Sworn Employee Clause in Contracts

Exempt Sworn Employee. 22 An employee may be bumped by an exempt sworn employee who 23 was previously a member of the bargaining unit and who is demoted by reason of 24 budgetary reorganization or pursuant to Multnomah County Code 9.120(C). In such 25 event time served in exempt sworn status shall be counted and such service shall be 26 deemed part of the promotional line as specified in Section D.3.b.(i) above.
