Existing Utilities. The Contractor shall be responsible for contacting all utility companies and/or utility districts as to location and/or relocation of existing utilities prior to construction. The Contractor shall contact Underground Service Alert [USA], telephone ▇-▇▇▇-▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇, a minimum of ten (10) days prior to any excavation. The District assumes no responsibility for the completeness or accuracy of the delineation of any underground utilities, or the existence of other buried objects or utilities which are not shown on the Plans. The Contractor is solely responsible for any damage to underground or above ground utilities, which may be incurred as a result of any work performed by him under this Contract, regardless of the fact that the utilities’ existence was known or unknown.
