Experience And Background. ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ attended Indiana University in 1969 and has been in the locating and construction business ever since. He worked at SM&P Construction Company and began trenching operations for underground utilities. He grew the business into other states until the business was eventually acquired by Indianapolis Water. ▇▇. ▇▇▇▇▇ worked at SM&P until his retirement twenty -four years later. ▇▇. ▇▇▇▇▇ was the Chairman of the Central Indiana Damage Prevention Counsel from 2014 through 2017. ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ graduated from Indiana University in 1995 with a degree in public affairs. ▇▇▇ was an integral part of a major subsurface utility locating firm (USIC) throughout his career and has many years of locating experience. As a USIC district manager, he gained experience in day- to-day operations including overseeing quality and profitability aspects of the company. He was responsible for employee development and the training of new locators. He also was involved with customer service. As vice president of operations, he oversaw daily operations of ▇▇▇▇▇ Utility Partners, LLC. Over the years, ▇▇▇ has been a participant with the Southeast Wisconsin Damage Prevention Council as well as the Indiana Damage Prevention Council. ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ has 11 years of experience in the underground utility and damage prevention industry. Currently he is cofounder of Utility Protection Trainers LLC. Just prior to founding UPT ▇▇▇▇▇ was co-owner of ▇▇▇▇▇ Utility Partners, a private utility locating and utility training company, and was involved in all aspects of the business since it was founded in 2011 until January 2022 at which time it was sold to GPRS. ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ shall provide resumes to the IURC for review and approval before any additional instructors teach any courses for this Contract.
