Common use of Experience and Technical Capacity Clause in Contracts

Experience and Technical Capacity. The Tenderer shall furnish documentary evidence to demonstrate that it meets the following experience requirement(s) using the form provided in Section IV. In case the Tenderer is a JV, experience and demonstrated technical capacity of only the JV shall be taken into account and not of individual members nor their individual experience/capacity will be aggregated unless all members of the JV have been manufacturing and supplying Goods offered in the Tender to the same technology, processing, design, materials, specifications, model number, etc. in all respects such that Goods manufactured have the same functional characteristics, performance parameters, outputs and other guarantees and fully interchangeable which shall be documented along with other required documents demonstrating capacity to the satisfaction of the Procuring Entity in case individual members claim experience. Otherwise, documents evidencing experience and technical capacity shall be in the name of the JV that submitted the Tender. Wherever the Words “Similar Goods” have been used it includes upgrades, latest and improved versions or models of similar specifications and technology. Refer to Form Exp-1 to provide the required information. i) The Tenderer shall be manufacturing similar Goods for the last 3years. ii) The Tenderer shall furnish documentary evidence to demonstrate successful completion of at least 3 of contracts of similar Goods in the last 3years each contract costing at equivalent and involving a supply of at least 80 percentage of required quantity iii) (Optional) The installed capacity to manufacture 150 number of items shall not be less than 70 units per week.
