Common use of Expertise of Contractor Clause in Contracts

Expertise of Contractor. Contractor accepts the relationship of trust and confidence established between it and the City, recognizing that the City’s intention and purpose in entering into this Agreement is to engage an entity with the requisite capacity, experience, and professional skill and judgment to provide the Work in pursuit of the timely and competent completion of the Work undertaken by Contractor under this Agreement. The Contractor agrees to use its best efforts, skill, judgment, and abilities to perform its obligations and to further the interests of City and the Project in accordance with City’s requirements and procedures, and Contractor shall employ only persons duly qualified in the appropriate area of expertise to perform the Work described in this Agreement.
